Description
These are the same thread inserts that CCI uses on the Phantom to ensure that the field strip screws don’t strip out the threads in the soft aluminum body. They’re ideal for doing thread repairs and are superior to Helicoils, as they’re machined from solid stainless steel. A ‘must have’ item for any shop that does gun repair. Requires a 1/4-36 tapped hole for installation.
Available in 8-32 and 10-32 internal threads. 8-32 inserts measure about .110″ high and 10-32 inserts measure about .200″ high. Sold in packs of 5.
